Once in every
lifetime, if we are lucky, someone or something special comes along. Racetta Heaven's To
Betsy, "Betsy", is that something special in my life. I birthed Betsy
11 1/2
years ago. She quickly became the favored "bed" dog. She is my soulmate and
always in tune with my moods or needs. Not a show dog, but every bit the essence of a true
Sheltie, loyal and intelligent with a great desire to please. She is a great breed
ambassador.
Recently I took a hobby job teaching obedience at Petsmart and Betsy is my
constant companion and co-worker. She has become the Petsmart "Star", and
has many fans who come in frequently to see her. I always knew how special
she was, but now many people know. I love her with my whole heart an soul
and am thankful for every day with her. Everyone
should have such a special critter in their life. This page is dedicated to Betsy.
