ABOUT RACETTA

    RACETTA is a small Sheltie kennel located near the foothills of southern Colorado. We began breeding, raising  and showing Shelties in 1985. Our kennel name, RACETTA ,means pedigreed or of pedigree. We have exhibited in conformation, obedience, agility and herding. All of our dogs are home raised and home loved.

   Our goal is to produce sound, healthy, well tempered Shelties. We strive to produce good companion dogs as well as dogs who can be competitive in areas of conformation, obedience, herding and/or agility.

    We mainly breed AOAC's, (blues and blacks), with emphasis on Banchory lines, but are currently trying to establish our sable line.
